The PERRIN Front Mount Intercooler Kit has been designed with several features to get the most performance out of your turbocharger. If you have full bolt-on upgrades, or an upgraded turbocharger, a front mount intercooler is required for those trying to reach a certain horsepower goal.
Included in the PERRIN Front Mount Intercooler it is an air to air core that has been fabricated with a 3/8" bar and plate and has a 3/8" charge ambirnet air path which makes it super durable to handle the elements. The core measures in at 28" long by 9.25" tall by 3.5" deep. This intercooler also has a volume of 906.5 cubic inches. The intercooler core fits the bumper perfectly, and the intercooler will come provided with support beams made from boxed steel, and powder-coated black to be durable and corrosion resistant. The PERRIN Intercooler Core has also been pressure tested to 50PSI to ensure the consumer gets a solid leak-free unit ready to install.
Other features include cast end tanks that have been designed with smooth corners to prevent as much turbulence as possible, and they have built in monting tabs built into them to mount directly to the support beams.
Also included are CNC madrel bent aluminum boost tubes that come in a red powder-coated finsih to add flare to your engine bay. These pipes measure at 2.25", and have been designed with smooth bends to allow for obstruction-fre air flow. These pipes have thick beaded ends to make sure that the clamps and couplers stay in place throughout all boost levels, and the pipes have been designed to clear most turbo and intake combinations. Couplers, as well as T-bolt clamps will be provided to secure the fitment of the pipes for a proper leak-free operation. A turbo elbow, alson with the correct oil fitting, and lines for both oil and coolant wil also be included in the kit
Finally when compared to stock, the PERRIN Front Mount Intercooler Kit adds an additional 9lbs which isn't too bad for a full front mount intercooler kit. A Stencil will be provided to provide the user the option of decorating the core with PERRIN's aggressive logo.
