The OEM top mount intercooler gaskets are known to be very weak, creating boost leaks that can cause you to lose power, not reach targeted boost levels, and run rich. GrimmSpeed's Y-Pipe gaskets are 3X thicker, and are crafted with more metal layers to ensure a proper seal.
The Y-Pipe flanges never seem to mate well with the intercooler, however with the GrimmSpeed gaskets will be thick enough to bond the flanges together providing your car with optimum running conditions, creating a better seal than most competitor Y-Pipe seals.
