This is the Boomba Racing Short Throw Shift Lever that has been designed to reduce shift travel by as much as 30%. The lever has also been precision CNC machined out of billet steel and features black oxide coating with high-grade delrin materials to promote maximum strength and durability.
This component is a 100% direct replacement of your factory shift lever and provides the driver with a shorter shift with a more precise feeling as you go through the gears. Additionally, the shifter height is shorter by almost 2 inches and is also positioned closer to the driver by a half inch which makes the shift knob more comfortable while retaining the full function of the reverse lockout.
This particular short shifter will come compatible with the factory STI short throw shifter, as well as a few aftermarket shift stop designs.
