The OEM piece is made from flexible plastic with soft bushings and allows for excessive engine and transmission movement, especially during hard acceleration, braking, and shifting. Like its sister, the street version, it's made from a single piece of billet 6061 aluminum and machined to shave off as much weight as possible, while remaining completely solid.. For the race version, we used extremely durable 95A-durometer urethane bushings (compared to 75A in the standard) and stainless steel sleeves are pressed in and each unit is individually inspected and packaged. With the Race Version Pitch Stop Mount equipped, the amount of play your engine and transmission have during hard acceleration, deceleration and shifting is minimized even further.
