If you have surpassed the limits of your factory top mount intercooler, then it may be time to upgrade to the Grimmspeed Top mount intercooler Kit. Now this is a complete kit that comes provided with a splitter tailored to the design of this intercooler. The Grimmspeed Top mount Intercooler is the result of meticulous engineering and arduous research. This intercooler features cast aluminum end tanks wth large bar and plate core with TIG welded construction. This is the perfect upgrade for when boost levels are increased due to a larger turbocharger along with all the supporting moderate modifications that create more power. This design will keep charge temps consistent during aggressive driving to utilize all the benefits from the rest of your modifications.
The core dimensions are 13.1" X 10" X 3.75" with a cross flow core design. The core will come with 5-ply silicone couplers that are super durable and reinforced to handle years of boost. The splitter is fully integrated and designed to work specifically with this intercooler to distribute the air evenly and to make sure the intercooler is getting proper surface coverage instead of allowing the air to escape into the other areas of the engine bay.
Additional features include a 1/8 NPT bung for water/meth injection. This is installed on the the end tank and it is CNC machine tapped and plugged for future use. Also, all Grimmspeed intercooler are inspected and sealed prior to shipping to deliver the go-fast customer with a quality part.
Intercooler comes with the option of having the intercooler painted with the Thermal Dispersant black finish or silver. Also the option in include the GrimmSpeed Alumnium Charge Pipe Kit.
