WRX STI R400 Gasket Replacement - Good Enough!

Like many people, I purchased a used Invidia R400 for my '16 STI that didn't come with useable hardware. The Invidia site was out of stock on their gasket kit so I went with these. This is the only other site that has a complete set, so this was very convenient. As always I received my items pretty quickly and packaged appropriately. My main issue is with the fitment of the gaskets. The unusable gaskets that came with my exhaust were perfectly sized to the outer edges of the piping - Zero overlap. The fitment with these was a little off, particulary with the muffler tip to y-pipe connections. They were a tad bit oversized. The y-pipe to mid-pipe and mid-pipe to downpipe gaskets fit a little better and didn't overlap the outer edges. I'm not sure if overlapping is normal or an issue but I still installed it because the most important part - the hole in the middle - seemed to line up and be adequately sized as to not stifle gas flow. I haven't noticed any leaks or issues but it's only been a week. Overall these did appear to do the job so I can't complain too much. As always NPR will continue to be my go to for STI parts!
