Lightweight flywheels reduce rotational mass of the engine, which means faster revs, reduced rotational mass at the crank, and more horsepower. ACT flywheels are built to be lighter, and stronger than cast flywheels that can be used on the street, as well as on the track. 
ACT StreetLite flywheels are constructed out of CNC machined, hot forged chrome-moly steel. They are also computer balanced for smooth upper-RPM reliability.  This is a direct replacement of your OEM flywheel, and is recommended for street use. At just 14.4lbs, you will feel the difference.
