StopTech ST-22/ST-40 Front and Rear BBK

Been running these for about a month and the difference over the stock brakes is incredible. These stop on a dime and feel solid when pressing on the pedal (my old ones felt a little squishy. Bought the car used so previous owner really ******* up the brakes. How do I know? The front rotors were severely warped lol). I still am getting used to how quickly these respond and how much they bite. I now just need new tires to handle the added stopping power I feel with these brakes. :) Also, the color on the calipers look great! My only complaint would be that the front rotor fitment is TOO perfect so I had to bend back the dust shield for the two front wheels because they would grind against the rotor, especially when the rotors got extremely hot during the bedding process. Other than that, installation for front and rear brakes were straightforward and the only difficult portion was cutting off the rear dust shields. I am running these inside a 17"x7.5" OZ Racing Alleggerita HLT wheel with a +48mm offset (stock wheel has a +53mm offset) so they fit very snug inside the wheel but clear the spokes nicely. You will have to place the weights on the inside ("back") of the wheel, however, since the fitment is so tight and they may rub against your caliper. So make sure to rotate the wheels by hand to see if anything rubs before you drop your car and take it for a spin! Side note: The pads that came with this kit produce ALOT of brake dust, like a TON of dust. I have mudflaps so I don’t get any on the body, but my wheels are supposed to be bronze and after about 2 weeks they look dark brown/black from all the dust. If you don’t mind cleaning constantly it's really no big deal. Everything works as advertised if you follow the provided instructions. -Carlos
